STEVE KASS, FOUNDER & C.E.O.
Steve Kass founded American Leisure in 1967. Under his leadership the company has grown to become an internationally recognized leader in the design and operation of spas, fitness centers, and other lifestyle and recreational facilities.
Although American Leisure has grown dramatically in size and stature, Steve maintains the same operational philosophy with his hundreds of employees as he had when American Leisure was a three-man operation; a belief in strong, personal management. "Creativity, space-use effectiveness, innovative programs and providing impeccable service to our clients can only be maintained by concerned hands-on day to day management."
Steve is a highly motivated speaker and frequently lectures and conducts seminars at leading industry trade shows. He recently received the Leisure and Recreation Leadership Award from Niagara University's College of Hospitality and Tourism Management for his outstanding contribution to the hospitality and tourism industry.
Steve holds a Masters Degree from Queens College, C.U.N.Y.

WENDY BOSALAVAGE, PRESIDENT
Wendy Bosalavage has over twenty years of experience in the lifestyle industry, including fitness, spa and wellness. Wendy's hands on approach has been instrumental in assuring that American Leisure's clients goals are met with success in the areas of staff recruitment, development, training, sales, marketing, operations, branding, and customer service.
Wendy is a founding member of the Medical Spa Society, and is the immediate past president of The Day Spa Association. She is also a corporate director of the Glen Ivy Hot Springs Spa and Day Spa located in California.
Wendy is a graduate of Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City.

TOM JOHNSTON, CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
Tom Johnston joined American Leisure Corporation in November 2008, as Chief Operating Officer. As COO, Tom is responsible for leading the business operations for all facets of the American Leisure brand. He is committed to achieving American Leisure’s client’s strategic objectives through visionary leadership, focused planning and disciplined implementation. Tom’s hands-on approach to operations is a reflection of his passion for the health, fitness and lifestyle industry and his 25 years of experience. Tom has been an integral part in building some of the most successful commercial club operations in the United States.
Prior to joining the American Leisure team, Tom was the Vice President of Operations for Saw Mill Sports Management. He began his tenure as the General Manager of the company’s flag ship multi-sport, Saw Mill Club in Mt. Kisco, NY. Having developed a high performance team that consistently achieved the organizational goals the company expanded through acquisition and Tom was promoted to VP of Operations. He built a culture that was focused on exceeding the lifestyle needs of a highly discerning clientele. Developing and implementing best practices with a balanced approach of fiscal responsibility and an eye on operational excellence.
Tom received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Mercy College while he was the Membership Director of Club Fit in New York. He is a Charter Member of the North American Executive Roundtable for club operators. Tom is also a Registered Yoga Teacher.

TERRI W-BARBARIA, SR. EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT
Terri W-Barbaria is a Sr. Executive Vice President for American Leisure responsible for the conceptualization and development of fitness centers, spas and lifestyle centers. In addition, she heads up and manages new business development, sales and marketing and American Leisure's internet development.
Terri is a member of the International Spa Association (ISPA) and is a contributing writer to many industry publications.
Ms. W-Barbaria joined American Leisure in 1986 as Assistant Manager of Towers Country Club in Floral Park, New York.

JEREMY BRUTUS, EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT
Jeremy Brutus joined American Leisure in 1999. He has over 15 years of experience in the lifestyle management industry with extensive knowledge in repositioning products to increase gross margin in highly competitive markets. His track record proves consistency in improving operating profits.
Jeremy has strong negotiation and project management experience. He has created exceptional support and training systems that have maximized team effectiveness.
In his current role as Vice President of Operations, he develops and has launched new products for various locations. He initiates and directs start up operations and has maintained membership growth in all of his managed projects.
He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree with a concentration in political science and East Asian studies.

BETH CAPLAN, CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Beth Caplan is the Chief Financial Officer of American Leisure. Beth began her career as a auditor for Laventhal & Horwath, at the time one of the country's top ten accounting firms, with a strong emphasis on the hospitality and real estate industries. While there, she specialized in the audits of publicly held companies.
Prior to joining American Leisure, Beth worked as a Business Manager. Her clients included many high net worth individuals, primarily in the entertainment, hospitality and health care industries. Her financial responsibilities have provided her with strong insights in cash management and her dealing with such high profile clients has made her sensitive to all aspects of financial management, planning and reporting.
While at American Leisure, Beth has played a key role in the further development of the commercial financial department. Her financial and budget experience provides her with strong insights into all aspects of effective corporate management and spa management.
Beth is a Certified Public Accountant with a Business Degree from Bernard H. Baruch College.

MAUREEN FLETCHER, EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT OF SPA DEVELOPMENT & OPERATIONS
Maureen Fletcher brings over 25 years of expertise to the health, wellness and spa industry. Her background includes extensive experience in finance, management, retail and spa development. This includes business start-up, sales and marketing, operations and product/ treatment development. Maureen has an excellent track record in the ability to facilitate close working relationships with clients and colleagues. In her career she has consulted with many firms through out the country and Europe. She has also held high level positions with such companies as Clarins USA and Soliv International.
Maureen consistently helps American Leisure’s clients expand market share, maximize top and bottom line growth by focusing on market opportunities, implementing a strong product and marketing strategy, and ensuring a concise, well communicated operational infrastructure, maximizing personnel resources, maintaining high standards of service, and adjusting to the changing dynamics of the marketplace.
Currently and for eight years Maureen has served as a Corporate Director for Glen Ivy Hot Springs and Day Spas in southern CA. She is a member of the International Spa Association (ISPA) and past Advisory Member of the Day Spa Association.

STEVEN O'NEAL, VICE PRESIDENT OF SPA OPERATIONS
Embarking on his ninth year in the spa and fitness industry, Steven O’Neal joins American Leisure as VP of Spa Operations where he will initially be heading the company’s new venture with the Setai Wall Street in partnership with Daniela Steiner - American Leisure’s new exclusive European luxury Spa branding partner. American Leisure is responsible for the conceptualization, management and consultation to the owners, architects, and design firm for the Setai Wall Street Club and Spa, which is projected to open early 2009.
O’Neal starts his new post after serving as Chief Operating Officer and Managing Director, Fifth Avenue for NYC acclaimed Cornelia Day Resort. Prior experience includes Executive Director of Spa for Hilton Hotels Five Diamond destination Spa in Short Hills, NJ, where he contributed to the overall success of the Hotel’s operations as a board member on its Executive Committee. Steven was humbly honored in 2006 when he was selected as the recipient of Hilton’s prestigious Executive Leadership of the year award. Steven has held senior management roles at Manhattan’s Peninsula Spa at the Peninsula Hotel, as well as Equinox Fitness and Spa.
Steven’s passion for the spa and hospitality industry and his singular understanding of the nuances and details that create a truly luxurious spa experience will further enhance American Leisure’s spa operations. In his new role, O’Neal will be responsible for all spa operations including treatment protocol, spa and treatment development, staffing, maintaining standards of excellence and brand image, as well as ensuring that American Leisure reaches projected revenues. This newly positioned role allows C.E.O. Steve Kass and President, Wendy Bosalavag to turn their full focus to new business development and growth of the Daniela Steiner American brand that will position American Leisure as a leading global force in the luxury, Five Star Spa management and branding market.

DON AMBLO, VICE PRESIDENT OF OPERATIONS
Don Amblo has been in the fitness and lifestyle industry for over 20 years. He joined American Leisure in 1995 and currently oversees American Leisure's club portfolio. Working with a dedicated team of Area Supervisors, Don ensures that the American Leisure "Family of Clubs" is maintained in a first class manner.
Don develops and maintains American Leisure's educational programs for the company's management staff and nationally certifies all of American Leisure�s club managers as Pool Operators.
Don has a Bachelor of Science degree in Education and attended Queens College on scholarship for Exercise Physiology. Don is a Fitness Instructor for the American College of Sports Medicine, and is a certified CPO instructor for The Professional Pool and Spa Association along with his other certifications with the National Swimming Pool Foundation and the New York City Department of Health.

JOANN PATRELLO, EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT
Joann Patrello brings to American Leisure twenty-six years of experience in Property Management.
Joann is knowledgeable in all aspects of residential and commercial property management. Joann has extensive background in Co-op, Condominium and rental properties.
Her skills have enabled her to be chosen to work for the F.D.I.C. on a three million dollar re-habilitation venture of a luxury hi-rise building in Fort Lee, New Jersey. Joann's success in New Jersey has been featured in the Bergen Record Business Review.
She has also been commended by the borough of Fort Lee on her ability to abate and correct violations in record time and put into place planned preventative maintenance activities.
Joann has an outstanding record in maintenance/rent collection as well as Court Litigation procedures.
Joann holds a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Business Management and Marketing.

JASON D’ES VERNEY, DISTRICT MANAGER
Jason D’es Verney joined American Leisure in January of 2006 in the position of Lifestyle Center Manager and was quickly promoted to District Manager.
Jason brings over 20 years of experience in the health and fitness Industry. His extensive background includes start ups as well as multi-club supervision in commercial and residential markets. Prior to joining American Leisure, Jason worked with the Bally’s Organization for ten years, as well as with New York Health & Racquet Clubs, CanDo Fitness and Sports Fitness & Fun.
Jason’s expertise in instructional fitness, Personal Training courses and management and service training has been instrumental in his success in the lifestyle and fitness industry.
Jason’s educational background includes Computer Science and Aviation Avionics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. He holds certifications in a wide variety of areas: American Academy of Fitness Professionals – Post Rehabilitation Conditioning Specialist, American Red Cross - Professional Rescuer, NYC Department of Health – Certified Pool Operator, along with certifications from Nautilus Equipment Company, Reebok and Bally’s. Jason is also a regional Aerobic National Champion.

FRANK DURSO, DISTRICT MANAGER
Frank originally joined American Leisure in 1984, as Golf Manager and Assistant Lifestyle Manager of the Towers Country Club in Floral Park, NY. Frank was quickly promoted to Area Supervisor overseeing four facilities in Queens, NY. Frank later left American to pursue other endeavors.
In 2006, Frank returned to American Leisure as the Lifestyle Center Manager of The Wyndham at Garden City. He was quickly promoted to Area Supervisor and was responsible for the staffing, programming and total operation of seven pool facilities on Long Island. Frank was then was asked to manage one of American Leisure’s premier residential Lifestyle Centers, The Fifth Avenue Club, in NYC. Currently Frank is a District Manager, responsible for overseeing the operations of nine exclusive residential Lifestyle Centers.
With over 20 years of experience in the Health and Fitness Industry and an educational background in Business Administration and Recreational/Fitness Management, Frank brings a vast point or view and experience to the executive team. His extensive management experiences, as well as proficient people skills, are keys to his success in operating facilities at the highest levels.
