Summer 2010 Lifeguard Positions Available
Join us at American Leisure for some fun in the sun!! We have several summer positions in NJ, NYC and the surrounding boroughs. Our lifeguards are the industry’s finest! We have plenty of room to grow with the company…start as a lifeguard with American Leisure and start a career! Lifeguards are responsible for the overall safety of bathers and daily upkeep of the pool and the surrounding area. Other responsibilities include: · Supervising the activities of swimmers · Rescuing swimmers in distress or in danger of drowning · Reporting any accidents, rescues, or problems that arise · Reporting any equipment in need of repair · Conducting tests to determine water quality · Maintaining attendance and activity record and completing required reports · Maintaining a clean and safe facility Our ideal candidates will be lifeguard and CPR certified, outgoing, family-friendly, and possess knowledge of pool maintenance, water treatment and hygiene requirements.
